Week 17

I managed to shoot pictures on 2 days of the last week.

Some warm evenings are finally here.  Carolyn and I spent some time out in the back yard. 

Picture #1 - Patio furniture

Picture #2 - Carolyn didn't sit around long, out came the bubbles.  I chased her around with my camera, a ring flash with a moon unit mounted and a power pack trying some different lighting.

Lots of kid pictures over the last week.  I need to work on my variety a bit more.  I am happy that I got some off camera flash going in the back yard, but need to work on this some more to improve my results.

Week 15 & Week 16

I'm back and it turns out that I did have some pictures to post 2 weeks ago, I just forgot that I had taken them.  It was Cyndy's birthday on April 6th so we went out with family and friends to Cyndy's favorite restaraunt, the Pelican Pier.

Pic #2 -  Carolyn was amused that it was Mom's birthday and wanted to help blow out the candle.

Pic #4 - Someone wants to be just like Mom, wearing high heeled shoes.  Yes "little bear" is wearing panties, he can't hang out nude.

Pic #6 - Now on to the pictures for this last week.  Out for coffee at the neighborhood coffee shop.  Usually a 20 minute walk, but with Carolyn it was a half day event, with a stop at 2 parks on the way.

Pic #9 - Carolyn still likes to swing in the infant swing in the backyard.  Swinging in to the streamers from the new windsock was amusing.

Week 14

We enjoyed the 3 day Easter weekend.  It was bright, windy and dusty in Calgary, but we did manage to get outside some.  Easter was definitely the theme, Butterfield Acres on Good Friday for an Easter Egg hunt and to check out the farm animals.  Then coloring eggs, hunting for eggs, eating chocolate and visiting with family at Easter dinner on Sunday.
